Our Professionals

Terry Harrison

I was born and raised in Lincoln, Illinois, a small town about thirty miles north of Springfield. A lawyer named Lincoln residing in Springfield represented the railroad which had platted the town. He christened the town site in 1853 by pouring watermelon juice on the ground in the town square and his employers named the town after him. My three siblings and I spent most of our childhood playing outside. The 200 acre pasture a block from our home had trees, a creek, and plenty of room to play. In middle school and high school I played on several sports teams. I’m still a big sports fan.   After graduating from law school, I moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. The forests, rivers, lakes and mountains of the Northwest were a big change from the corn and soy bean fields. Skiing, riding snow machines, hiking and boating with friends were regularly on the calendar. In 1986 I moved to Phoenix and quickly grew to appreciate living in this great State. I have a wonderful family and two big dogs. My wife is also a lawyer and we have long discussions with our millennials on legal issues that are important to them.
