After a six day jury trial, the jury rejected Plaintiff’s claim that the fall caused debilitating neurological injury.

Every November, we celebrate Thanksgiving in the office with a large lunch that includes all the traditional dishes. While we wait for the turkeys to finish cooking, we compete in our annual cornhole tournament, which provides a lot of laughs. Finally, we gather for our yearly office photo, which we share with our clients in our Christmas cards.

As 2016 Defending Champions, O’Connor & Dyet participated in the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) annual softball tournament. All proceeds went to Southwest Human Development, a local non-profit that provides a wide variety of services to families with children. The OCC team made it to the Finals, but unfortunately fell in the championship game and was the runner-up for the tournament.

O’Connor and Dyet was proud to be one of the sponsors of the Arizona Jewish Lawyers Association annual CLE in conduction with International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Partnering with the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the firm provided and served lunches for a WWII Honor Flight that sent veterans to Washington DC to visit their WWII Memorial. In addition to the various branches of the service, 14 “Rosie the Riveters” (pictured here) were also honored.

Effective July 1, 2016, O’Connor & Dyet is excited to announce its newest equity partner, Shane Dyet.
